Report Lighting Malfunctions

If you see a hazard such as exposed wires, a loose street light arm or a motor vehicle accident involving a street or pathway light, please let us know immediately by calling Public Works After-Hours Line at 905-873-2600, press 2 and follow the prompts.

The Town's Transportation Division is responsible for operating and maintaining over 6,200 lights, 400 of which are owned by Halton Region. In addition to managing the street lights, the division is also responsible for approximately 500 pathway and 150 parking lot lights. If you spot a malfunction, please report it by completing this form to notify Town staff who will investigate. Note that anonymous form submissions are not accepted and ALL information is collected and protected under the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
